Intel #2 -Small Town Attractions - Cemetaries This intel is about cemetaries. I suppose that isn't an attraction for many people, but to many more, it is something they are interested in because it's a hobby, or it may just be an interesting past time to look at old tombstones and the old dates and names, or it may be relatives they are researching. I found something that is really interesting and very helpful to someone that is interested in cemetaries. There's a website, link is below, that has a list of all the cemetaries in Clearfield County. The website tells you what township the cemetary is located in, who all is buried there, birth and death year and sometimes even the inscriptions on the tombstones. You can search by file name, location, find out when it was updated and whether it was a complete survey or a partial one. I find cemetaries very interesting especially if they're old. There is another reason I find cemetaries so interesting...I live beside one. It's an old cemetary, with tombstones with birth years in the 1700's...and there is a set of tombstones with 4 children from one family with ages 7, 4, 2 and 1. They died in 1847.
