Is Your Neighbor a Sexual Predator?

I am astonished at the recent news stories about sexual predators that move into a local area and are arrested some time later because they didn't register as an offender. Which is a pretty scary thing. If you have little kids, this is info you should know. I don't know about all states, but in Pennsylvania, as of 6/12/09, there are 9629 Sex Offenders and 337 Sexually Violent Predators for a grand sick and twisted total of 9966. This is found on the www.pameganslaw.state.pa.us website and is public record. It would be interesting to know the statistics in other states. Just Google Megan's Law for your state and find out. So where are all these people? Is it the pizza delivery guy? Is it the greeter at Walmart? Is it one of your church members? Is it the car salesman at your local dealership? Is it the weird guy that sits on his porch all day and watches traffic? Probably all the above. The new family that moves in next door could be housing a sexual offender and if he, or she, decides not to register with the State Police, how are you going to know? Simple.
