Amazon aStore for Your Website

If you have a website, chances are it's because you are selling something. Whether it's a product, an idea, health and wellness promotion or your life in photos and stories, your out there selling. It's important to have an internet presence. There are billions of users world-wide logging on every day. Your website is a powerful first impression, and it is critical that this impression is positive. Your website is available 7 days a week, 365 days per week, even when you're sleeping, so it's important for any business, organization or individual. It's the bricks and mortar store online. It's the showroom in cyberspace. It's like handing out a business card globally. It's the only way to reach out to the entire world and tell your story, or should I say 'sell' your story. If you've opened a store online, it's no different than a physical store you walk in to. It takes a lot of hard work. But being open online is more beneficial to the customer because you're always open and there's no waiting in line. It's beneficial to you because of the potential for world wide customers and you can start a business for a fraction of the cost of opening a bricks and mortar store. Setting up a website, finding a product, stocking that product and promoting your merchandise can be time consuming, expensive and risky. Affiliate marketing is certainly less of a chance. Affiliate marketing, for those who aren't familiar, is promoting other sellers products or ideas without actually stocking that merchandise on your website. You can put banners and other promotional links on your website and when a visitor clicks through on these links and purchases a product, the small web site owner is paid a commission for generating the sale. One of the pioneers in affiliate marketing is Amazon.com. You can make up to 15% by advertising Amazon products. You can link to their site, add widgets to your site or even open an aStore, which is a self-contained online store embedded directly within your web page. aStore provides a complete shopping experience and can contain selected product groups or the entire product range offered by Amazon. aStore offers much of the same functionality available on the Amazon websites (search, customer reviews, similar products, etc.) and can be seamlessly integrated into your website. So if you're designing a website, take your time, find a good host, preferably one that has a site builder and templates already designed for you, and finally a good product to sell.
